Winter Recreation and Snowmobile Advisory Committee Meetings

OLYMPIA – Jan. 25, 2023 – The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission Winter Recreation Program will be hosting two in-person only advisory committee meetings in the coming weeks for both the Winter Recreation Advisory Committee and the Snowmobile Advisory Committee. Members of the public are invited to attend.

The Winter Recreation Advisory Committee (WRAC) meeting will be held on January 28 at 8:45 a.m. at the Snoqualmie Pass Visitors Center. The Winter Recreation Advisory Committee assists and advises the Commission in the development of non-motorized winter recreation facilities and programs.

The Snowmobile Advisory Committee will be held February 4 at 8:30 a.m. at the Yakima Convention Center. The Snowmobile Advisory Committee assists and advises the Commission in the development of snowmobile facilities and programs.

Additional details, including an agenda and driving directions can be found online for each meeting by visiting the Winter Recreation Advisory Committee and Snowmobile Advisory Committee webpages.

WRAC and the Snowmobile Advisory Committee meet twice during the year. The winter meeting provides updates on seasonal operations, while the summer meeting determines budget for the next season.
